I put that in quotes because it is really a beautiful home, not just a cabin. It is very clean & well-maintained, with many extra little special touches. The setting is beautiful, and the area really lives up to the name, Deer Tracks, because we saw deer EVERYWHERE! The entire resort has many things to do, we wish we could have stayed longer. Lynn was very helpful, especially since I called to reserve the cabin only four days before we were to arrive. Thanks for the opportunity to stay here. We just left the Deer Tracks “cabin” today. The cabin is beautifully decorated and had every amenity I could think of, including some wonderful lotion that made my hands silky smooth and several devotional books that I read while relaxing in the quiet serenity on the riverbank in the area. Lynn was helpful, courteous, and accomodating. I loved the cabin and the customer service so much that I'm taking my family back next month for a long weekend. Everything was just great!!!! There were 3 families sharing this cabin yet we never felt crowded. The view was the best and the firepit was a huge hit (Perfect for s'mores)! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in and star gazing after a fun day. We can't say enough about Lynn's help while we were there and how excited we are to plan our next visit. Highly recommended!! This cabin was HUGE and absolutely gorgeous! This is definately a cabin to consider if you have either a large family (particularly if you have teens that might want their "space"--the bottom level has two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and bunk beds and the bottom level has its own separate living room with a TV) or a family group. The cabin has three levels with bedrooms and full baths on each level. The cabin was decorated beautifully and the views were wonderful. It was neat to experience the mountain wildlife. We saw deer several times in the mornings grazing behind the cabin. We even found their little trail they have trodded out from the edge of the grass.
